Is Caelesta about to annex a new territory? Connie: “There is a problem with our Capital Territory.”

Pulchritudo, Caelesta On the 26th of January 2022, Caelesta’s current leader, Connie Sarah, decided to reveal her plans for the territory of Caelesta.

“I’ve noticed, and I’m sure others have too, that there is a problem with our Capital Territory. It’s the only territory in the whole country to not be accessible to the population, as well as to the foreigners.” , said Connie.

“It’s also the only territory that has its location hidden for my own safety, and the only territory people can’t register to become citizens of.” , continued Connie.

She suggested that one of the ways for the Capital to become accessible to people is to annex a whole new territory and integrate it within the Capital. She has proposed to annex a small part in the North-West of Mihai Eminescu Park, Western Botosani.

The territory itself is a small, seemingly unmanaged piece of land on the North-Western borders of the Park, with only 2 benches and a trashcan.

“I personally think it wouldn’t hurt annexing this territory, seeing as almost no one, not even the local authorities, take care of it, and seeing as no one formally lives here, so we don’t have anyone we can claim as a citizen that isn’t a citizen.” , argumented Connie.

“It would almost be like ‘adopting’ it. I pass close by the Park almost every day. I could go there on an almost daily basis and take care of the trash on the ground, to take pictures and show everyone the territory. I guess you could say that I will show it the care it hasn’t received from other people.” , continued Connie.

The Territory, if annexed into Caelesta, would be named the Eminescu Quarter (Cartierul Eminescu), named after the Classic Romanian poet, Mihai Eminescu, following for the current territory of Pulchritudo to be named the Administrative Quarter (Cartierul Administrativ), both of those territories being integrated in a ‘new’ Pulchritudo. While the Administrative Quarter would remain closed off to people, the Eminescu Quarter would always be open to anyone who intends on visiting it.

The integration of the Eminescu Quarter into Pulchritudo would also give people the opportunity of registering into Pulchritudo as citizens, making this the first time since April-May 2021 when people will be able to register as citizens of the Capital of the Country (formerly being available when the District of Corindalesti existed).

“I will talk to the Government about this proposition of mine in the form of the drafting of a new order for review, and we will see what happens with this territory.” , concluded Connie.
